Rees has demonstrated success in managing hospitality operations on four continents and in numerous countries.John Rees has been named the Senior Vice President of Hotel Operations at Hard Rock International. In this capacity, he will oversee all facets of the hotels, encompassing both franchise and corporate properties.
Jon Lucas, the Chief Operating Officer of Hard Rock International, expressed enthusiasm about John taking the lead in the Hard Rock Hotel team. This comes as the company strives to enhance its standing as one of the world’s foremost and widely recognized global hospitality brands.

Rees brings over three decades of experience in the hospitality sector, including education in hospitality management and participation in leadership programs.
Prior to joining Hard Rock International, Rees served as the Vice President of Resort Operations and Experience at Marriott Vacations Worldwide. Additionally, he held the position of Senior Director of Operations for Marriott International in the Middle East and Africa.
In a comparable capacity, Rees also assumed the role of Senior Director of Operations at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in Dubai, UAE.
