Stéphane Fraser, the EVP and COO of Gaming Establishments at Loto-Québec, has officially announced a significant partnership with Aristocrat Gaming. This collaboration grants Aristocrat Gaming access to the thriving video lottery terminal (VLT) gaming market in Québec.
Aristocrat will initiate the distribution of its video lottery hardware and games in early summer 2024. The initial launch will feature a selection of 10 games, including popular titles such as Bao Zhu Zhao Fu Red Festival and Fire Light, showcased on the innovative MidKnight X Upright cabinet.
Kurt Gissane, Chief Revenue Officer at Aristocrat Gaming, shared eagerness about the company’s entry into the Québec VLT market, stating, “Gaining entry into the Québec VLT market is another major milestone for the company, demonstrating our vested interest in these emerging segments and allowing us to bring our award-winning products to new markets and their players. We’re excited for the opportunity to have a presence in Québec and are hopeful for a longstanding relationship with Loto-Québec.”
This development came after Aristocrat Gaming’s recent distribution of NFL Super Bowl Jackpots in the United States, which included NFL-themed slot machines. The machines, which depicted various parts of American football, marked the conclusion of Aristocrat Gaming’s multiyear association with the National Football League.
In addition to these achievements, Aristocrat Gaming, along with eBet, IGT, and Light & Wonder has been granted conditional approval for an extended cashless gaming experiment in New South Wales, Australia. Administered by Liquor & Gaming New South Wales, the trial’s objective is to investigate changes in players’ attitudes and behaviors resulting from the implementation of cashless gaming technology, involving nearly 4,500 electronic machines.
