London-based IMG Arena, known for its pivotal role in sports data, technology, and fan engagement across sports, sports betting, and media landscapes, is set to unveil novel offerings aimed at enriching the fan experience. Boasting a vast portfolio that includes live streaming, data feeds for over 65,000 sports events annually, and innovative solutions like the UFC Event Centre, IMG Arena caters to a diverse clientele, including prominent names like MLS, PGA Tour, and Roland Garros.
In a strategic move, IMG Arena has forged an alliance with Amazon Web Services (AWS) as its preferred cloud provider. By harnessing AWS’s cloud computing prowess and management tools, IMG Arena endeavors to introduce cutting-edge products that elevate live streaming, data aggregation, and fan interaction for its partners.
The decision to collaborate with AWS follows IMG Arena’s recent expansions, highlighted by the acquisition of Leap Gaming and a significant investment in Signality, a Swedish computer vision specialist.
Max Wright, CCO at IMG Arena, expressed enthusiasm, stating, “IMG Arena has spearheaded innovation in official sports data and technology since our inception in 2012. Our choice of AWS as our strategic cloud provider underscores our commitment to delivering the most advanced data-centric products in the industry.”
This partnership builds upon AWS’s prior collaboration with FanDuel, further solidifying AWS’s role as a key player in empowering sports betting services with innovative solutions.
