International Game Technology (IGT) has emerged victorious in a competitive bidding process to enhance Loto-Québec’s Video Lottery Terminals (VLT) network. The comprehensive agreement operated by IGT Canada Solutions ULC, will see the phased deployment of PeakDual 27 VLTs across Québec, aligning seamlessly with Loto-Québec’s ongoing VLT replacement cycle.
Stéphane Fraser, EVP and COO of Gaming Establishments at Loto-Québec, expressed satisfaction, stating, “For decades, Loto-Québec has looked to IGT to supply quality hardware and game content to our gaming establishments network. We are pleased to announce this new agreement.”
The cutting-edge PeakDual 27 VLT boasts dual 27-inch high-definition monitors and a 13.3-inch digital player panel. IGT’s diverse portfolio of games will be showcased on these advanced terminals encompassing both established titles and innovative releases.
In a distinct achievement, IGT has secured the prestigious AAA rating in MSCI ESG, a testament to the company’s unwavering commitment to sustainability. The evaluation covered a range of categories, emphasizing governance, product safety, carbon emissions, and labor management.
Further underscoring IGT’s prowess, the company has extended its partnership with the Virginia Lottery through a three-year contract extension, extending until October 2033. This substantial extension, spanning over two decades, encompasses the modernization of the Virginia Lottery’s central retail system, leveraging IGT’s latest technologies.
The enhancements in store include the introduction of Retailer Pro S2 and the revamping of the communications network with a targeted go-live date set for October 2025.
